Reimagining Family Entertainment
Famaland Festival - Bringing Families Together
At The Entertainment Office, we believe that creating memorable family experiences starts with understanding our youngest guests. When we were asked to develop Famaland Tots, we knew this was an opportunity to revolutionize holiday entertainment for families with babies and toddlers.
Famaland Tots isn't just another family festival – it's a carefully crafted journey that combines entertainment, education, and relaxation. We designed each element with both parents and little ones in mind, creating spaces where families can truly connect.
The Heart of the Experience
At the center of Famaland Tots lies the Musical Meadow, a thoughtfully designed family space where comfort meets creativity. Here, parents can relax with their little ones while enjoying everything from storytelling sessions to interactive shows. We partnered with Hartbeeps to deliver daily sensory sessions, understanding that early development thrives through engagement and play.
Adventure Around Every Corner
What sets Famaland Tots apart is the variety of experiences available. From the excitement of meeting baby dinosaurs to splashing in bubble-filled dance parties, every moment is an opportunity for discovery. The Magical Kingdom, built entirely from cardboard, invites little imaginations to run wild – a space where creativity knows no bounds.
Balancing Entertainment and Development
We carefully curated activities that support early development while maintaining the fun factor:
Interactive roleplay sessions with characters like Pirate Jenny
Sensory experiences from baby massage to bubble parties
Creative workshops from slime-making to chocolate crafting
Physical activities including Balance Bikes and Mini Land Rovers
A New Approach to Family Dining
Understanding that meal times can be challenging with little ones, we introduced character dining experiences. Breakfast with Bear, lunch with Lucy, and Dinner with Scratch to transform routine meals into magical moments, complete with activity packs to keep tiny diners engaged.
The success of Famaland Tots has redefined what's possible in family entertainment. By focusing on the specific needs of families with young children, we've created an environment where every activity, every space, and every moment is designed to create lasting memories.
The Future of Family Entertainment
This project represents everything we love about creative production – taking a vision and transforming it into an experience that brings joy to families. By understanding your audience and paying attention to the smallest details, we can create something truly special.

Producing Excellence
When Princess Cruises needed a producer to bring together their ambitious Good Food Show at Sea, The Entertainment Office was ready for the challenge. Our journey with Princess Cruises began with the launch of their newest vessel, the Sun Princess, where we were tasked with project managing multiple entertainment offerings. This successful collaboration led to our involvement in what would become a groundbreaking culinary event at sea.
Creating the Good Food Show Experience
Our role was to transform the Sky Princess into an immersive Good Food Show environment. We produced and implemented branded assets throughout the ship, creating a cohesive themed experience that extended from digital displays to environmental graphics. Every touchpoint was carefully considered to ensure guests felt fully immersed in this unique culinary journey.
Star-Studded Lineup
The event brought together an impressive array of culinary talent including:
John Torode MBE - MasterChef judge and celebrated UK chef
Lisa Faulkner - Celebrity MasterChef winner and TV presenter
Gennaro Contaldo - Italian culinary legend and Jamie Oliver's mentor
Rachel Allen - Renowned Irish chef and Ballymaloe Cookery School teacher
Cyrus Todiwala OBE, DL - Acclaimed Indian chef and restaurateur
Andy Clarke - Leading food and drink personality
Greg Rutherford - Olympic champion and Celebrity MasterChef winner
Maunika Gowardhan - Indian chef and bestselling cookbook author
Chris Baber - Champion of accessible home cooking
The Production Challenge
As producers, our role was to ensure every element came together seamlessly, including:
Coordinating multiple venue setups across the Sky Princess
Managing complex scheduling for celebrity chef appearances
Overseeing technical requirements for live demonstrations
Ensuring smooth running of interactive sessions
Implementing branded environments and signage
Digital content coordination across ship displays
The Result
Whether it's managing multiple entertainment projects or producing themed cruises, we're incredibly grateful to Princess Cruises for their continued trust and collaboration. Working together has been a fantastic journey, and we're excited to create more extraordinary experiences with their talented team.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
